The purpose of this website is to provide you with some of the more important information that you will need
to have within your reach this year. Within it you will find information on a variety of policies and procedures that will
help orient and assist you with your child’s education. I hope you will familiarize yourself with its structure so you
may refer to specific topics when needed. This website represents only one part of our service to you. We offer a variety
of information sources that are critical to our continued relationship and success. These resources include the Parent Academy,
the Parent Internet Portal, Interim Progress Reports, and Report Cards. Additionally, we have counselors, a Career Specialist,
and College Assistance Advisor who are available to assist you throughout your child’s high school career.
This year we are focusing on the 4-R’s: Rigor, Relevance, Reading, and Relationships. We believe that
our status as a world class high school is due to our effort to provide a rigorous and relevant curriculum that highlights
the need for advanced reading and comprehension. The relationships that we form with you and the students of this school provide
many opportunities for us to work toward success.
